What is left when everything is denied· Verses 22–24

The gods with Brahma at their head, the Vedas, the worlds and all that moves and does not move in them, were made by a slight portion of him, by the parting out of name and form. As the flames of a fire and the rays of the sun go out from what shines of itself and come back to it again and again, so from him this flood of the strands goes out and returns: understanding, mind, the openings of the senses, the makings of bodies. He is not god, not antigod, not mortal, not beast; not woman, not neuter, not man, not any creature; not a strand, not an action, not what is and not what is not. He is what is left when all is denied. May he win, who leaves nothing out.
