50Then on the thirteenth he should have the bathing of Visnu the mighty one carried out with the five things, by men who know the rules, by the rule the scriptures show. 51And he should make a great worship, with no meanness about money. Having set out the oblation cooked in milk for Visnu, who is entered into the rays, 52with that hymn he should make the offering to the Person, his mind well gathered, and should give food set before him of the finest kind, such as pleases the Person. 53He should content the teacher, who is full of knowledge, with cloth and ornaments and cows, and the priests as well. Know that to be the honouring of Hari.
54He should feed them with good food of fine quality, you of the clean smile, and the other brahmins too as far as he can, and whoever else has come there. 55He should give the fee to the teacher and to the priests as each deserves, and should gladden with food even those who cook dogs, when they have come. 56And when all have eaten, the poor and the blind and the wretched among them, then, knowing that this is what pleases Visnu, he should eat with his own people. 57With dance and instruments and song, with hymns of praise and words of blessing, and with the stories of him, he should have the worship of the Bhagavan made day after day.
