4Then, dear one, the Bhagavan showed himself before her, the first Person, dressed in yellow, with four arms, holding conch and disc and mace. 5Seeing him come within the reach of her eyes, she stood up at once and in reverence bowed to the ground with her whole body, stretched out like a staff, overcome with love. 6She rose and stood with her hands joined to praise him, and could not. Her eyes were flooded with tears of joy. She stayed silent, the hair standing up on her, her limbs shaking with the great festival of that sight. 7With love, slowly, in a voice that broke, that goddess Aditi praised Hari, bearer of the Kuru line, looking up at him as though drinking him with her eyes: the lord of Fortune, the lord of sacrifice, the lord of the world.
