30Seeing this whole world in the self of all, dear one, all the demons were struck faint; and they saw the Sudarsana disc, whose fire is not to be borne, and the Sarnga bow with the voice of thunder, 31and Pancajanya the conch, with the voice of the rain cloud, and Kaumodaki, Visnu's swift mace, and the sword Vidyadhara with its shield of a hundred moons, and the two fine quivers whose arrows are never used up. 32Sunanda and the others, the chief of his attendants, waited upon the Lord together with the guardians of the worlds, with flashing crown and armlets and fish-shaped earrings, with the Srivatsa, the best of jewels, the girdle and the garments.
33Ringed by his garland of forest flowers loud with bees, the Bhagavan the wide-strider shone, king; and with one foot he strode across Bali's earth, with his body the sky, and with his arms the quarters. 34As he strode, the second step took the heaven of the three worlds, and there was not left of what was Bali's so much as an atom for the third. The foot of the wide-strider went higher and higher, past Mahar and Jana, beyond Tapas.
