Virupa, Ketuman and Sambhu were Ambarisa's three sons. From Virupa came Prsadasva, and his son was Rathitara. Rathitara had no child, and being asked to continue the line, Angiras begot upon his wife sons who shone with the glow of Brahman. These, though born in another man's field, are counted again as descendants of Angiras. They are the foremost of the Rathitaras, twice-born men who go with the field. As Manu sneezed, a son was born from his nose, Iksvaku. Of his hundred sons the eldest were Vikuksi, Nimi and Dandaka. Of them, king, some were kings in Aryavarta to the east, and twenty-five to the west, and three in the middle, and the rest in other places.
