Then Yuvanasva's son Mandhatr, turner of the wheel and master, ruled alone the earth with her seven islands, by the burning power of the Unfallen. And knowing the self, he worshipped with rites and with plentiful gifts the god who is Sacrifice, made of all the gods, whose self is everything, beyond the reach of the senses. The substance, the mantra, the rule, the sacrifice, the man who sacrifices, the priests, the dharma, the place and the time: all of this has him for its self. As far as the sun comes up, and as far as it settles down again, all of it is called the field of Mandhatr, the son of Yuvanasva. The king begot on Bindumati, daughter of Sasabindu, Purukutsa and Ambarisa and Mucukunda the yogin; and their fifty sisters chose Saubhari for a husband.
