Harita was Rohita's son, and from him came Campa, by whom the city Campa was built. From him came Sudeva, whose son was Vijaya. Bharuka was his son, and from him came Vrka, and his son was Bahuka. That king had his land taken from him by enemies, and he went into the forest with his wife. When he was old and had come to his end, the chief queen was about to follow him in death; but Aurva, who knew, held her back, since she was carrying a child. Learning of it, her fellow wives gave her poison along with her food; and the child was born together with that very poison, and was named Sagara, of great renown.
