Who will hold my fall· Verses 4–8

4Who will hold the force of me as I fall to the floor of the earth? Otherwise, king, I shall split the ground open and go down into the world below. 5And another thing. I do not want to go to the earth. Men will scrub their wrong off in me. Where am I then to wash that wrong away? Think about that, king. 6The good, who have renounced, who are calm, who are settled in Brahman and make the world clean, carry the wrong away by the touch of their bodies; for Hari, who breaks wrong apart, is present in them. 7Rudra will hold your force, he who is the self of all who wear bodies, in whom this whole world is woven across and along, as a cloth is woven in its threads.
8Having said this, the king pleased the god Siva by austerity. In a very short time, king, the Lord was well satisfied with him.
