Saying this, Nimi, who understood the self well, let his own body go. And the great-grandfather was born of Mitra and Varuna in Urvasi. The best of the sages laid that body away among fragrant things; and when the long sacrifice was finished they said to the gods who had come: Let this body of the king live, if you are pleased and have the power. So be it, they said; and Nimi answered: Let there be no binding to a body for me. Sages whose thought is on Hari do not want that union, timid as they are before the fear of being parted again. They serve his lotus feet instead. I do not want to be shut into a body, which brings pain and grief and fear. Death is everywhere for it, as it is for fish in the water.

Then live as you please without a body, in the eyes of those who wear bodies, showing yourself in the opening and closing of them, resting in the self.
