20He joined the head to his father's body, set it on the sacred grass, and worshipped with sacrifices the god who is all the gods, who is the Self. 21He gave the eastern quarter to the hotr, the southern quarter to the brahman priest, the western to the adhvaryu, and the northern quarter to the udgatr. 22The quarters between he gave to the others, and the middle to Kasyapa, and Aryavarta to the one who watched over the rite, and what lay beyond that to the men of the assembly. 23Then, every stain of his shaken off by the closing bath, he shone at the great river Sarasvati as the sun shines in a sky with no cloud in it. 24And Jamadagni, getting back his own body with the marks of full awareness in it, became the seventh in the circle of the sages, and Rama worshipped him there.
