Sukra said to him in anger: Man of lies, hungry after women, let old age enter you, dull creature, which takes the shape away from men. Brahmin, I have not had my fill of desires with your daughter yet. Let it be traded off as one pleases, against the years of whoever will agree to it. Having got that leave, he said to his eldest son: Yadu, my child, take this old age of mine, and give me your own years instead. Your mother's father brought it on me, child. I have not had my fill of the things of sense. With your years I will enjoy myself some few years more. I have not the heart to stand about in an old age that has come to me before its time. Without knowing common pleasure a man does not come to the end of his thirst for it.

Turvasu, urged by his father, and Druhyu, and Anu, Bharata, all said no to him. They did not know dharma, and took what does not last for lasting.
