26Hearing the song, Devayani took it for a rebuke meant for herself, spoken as though it were a joke, out of the helplessness of the love between a woman and a man. 27She understood that the living together of those who love one another, who are under the Lord's rule, is like the meeting of travellers at a water-stall, and is put together by the maya of the mighty one. 28Letting go of clinging everywhere, holding it all to be like a dream, the daughter of Bhrgu set her mind wholly on Krsna and shook off the mark of self. 29Salutation to you, the Bhagavan, Vasudeva, the ordainer. To him who dwells in all beings, who is peace, who is vast: salutation.
