From Divodasa came Mitrayu, king, and his son was Cyavana; then Sudasa, then Sahadeva, then Somaka, who fathered Jantu. He had a hundred sons, and the youngest of them was Prsata, whose son was Drupada. Draupadi was his, and his sons were Dhrstadyumna and the rest. From Dhrstadyumna came Dhrstaketu. These are the sons of Bharmyasva, the Pancalas. There was another son of Ajamidha, Rksa, and from him Samvarana. On Tapati, the Sun's daughter, was born Kuru, lord of Kuruksetra. Pariksit, Sudhanus, Jahnu and Nisadha were Kuru's sons.
