His son was Sahasranika, and after him Asvamedhaja; his son Asimakrsna, and his son Nemicakra, who, when the city named for the elephant is carried off by the river, will live well in Kausambi. After him, it is said, Citraratha, and from him a son Kaviratha, and from him Vrstiman, and his son Susena, lord of the earth. His will be Sunitha, then Nrcaksus, whose son is Sukhinala. From him a son Pariplava, then Medhavi, Sunaya's son; then Nrpanjaya, then Durva, and from him Timi will be born. From Timi, Brhadratha; from him Satanika, born of Sudasa. From Satanika, Durdamana, and his child Mahinara. His son Dandapani, then Nimi, and from him Ksemaka will come. This line of brahmin and kshatriya alike has been told, and gods and sages have honoured it.

Having reached king Ksemaka, it will come to its end in the Kali age. Now I will tell you which kings of Magadha are to come.
