14Lord of the earth, Vrsasena was the son of that Karna. Druhyu's son was Babhru, and his son was Setu, and after him 15Arabdha; his son Gandhara, and his son Dharma, then Dhrta; Dhrta's son was Durmada, and from him Praceta, and Praceta's hundred sons 16became rulers of barbarian peoples and settled in the northern quarter. Turvasu's son was Vahni, and Vahni's son Bharga, then Bhanuman, 17then his son Tribhanu, and his son Karandhama, wide in mind. His son was Maruta, who had no son of his own and took a son from Puru's line. 18That was Dusmanta, and he went back again to his own line, wanting the kingdom.
