36Your name and form cannot be settled by strand or birth or action, since you are the witness of these. Yet by mind and speech, along a road that has to be guessed at, god, people do come to you in what they do. 37Hearing, praising aloud, putting others in mind of you, and dwelling upon your names and your auspicious forms: whoever has his mind taken up with your lotus feet in the midst of his doings is not fit for becoming again. 38It is our fortune, Hari, that by your birth, ruler, the burden upon this earth of yours is taken away. And it is our fortune that we shall see the earth marked with your beautiful little footprints, and heaven too, with your pity upon it.
39Lord, of you who do not come to be, we can find no cause for coming to be except your play. Coming to be, and ceasing, and continuing as well, are the work of unknowing, since they are laid upon you, the self who is a refuge without fear. 40You who have made your descents among fishes, horses, tortoises, man-lions, boars, swans, kshatriyas, brahmins and gods: guard us and the three worlds as you are doing now, lord. Take away the earth's burden, best of the Yadus. Our salutation to you. 41It is our fortune, mother, that the supreme Person, the Bhagavan himself, has come into your womb in a portion, for our welfare. Let there be no fear of the Bhoja lord, who is about to die. Your son will be the guardian of the Yadus.
42Having praised the Person so, whose form is not as this world is, the gods put Brahma and Isana in front of them and went back to heaven.
