So I will take away the darkness and the pride of these two, drunk on sweet varuni wine, blind with the pride of wealth, given over to women, with no rule over themselves. For these two, though they were born sons of a guardian of the worlds, are drowned in darkness, and are so far gone in pride that they do not know they have no clothes on. Therefore they deserve to become standing things, so that they will not be like this again. And even there let remembrance be theirs, by my favour and out of my kindness. Once a hundred divine autumns have gone by they will come near to Vasudeva, and having found devotion they will be dwellers in heaven once more.
