There the Highest-placed one saw the one Brahman without a second, highest, endless, of unfathomable understanding, playing the part of a child of a cowherd family, going about with the food still in his hand and looking everywhere for the calves and his friends, as before. Seeing him, he came down quickly from his own mount and threw his body on the earth like a golden staff, and touched the two feet with the tips of his four crowns, and bowed, and bathed them with the good water of his tears of joy. Getting up and getting up again, falling for a long while at Krsna's feet, he stayed there, remembering and remembering again the greatness he had seen.

Then, rising slowly and wiping his eyes, looking up at Mukunda with his neck bent, hands joined, humble and gathered into himself, trembling, he praised him in a stammering voice.
