30So let this great favour be mine, master, in this birth or another or among the beasts: that even as one among your people I may serve your feet, tender as new leaves. 31Ah, how greatly fortunate are the cows and the women of Vraja, whose nectar of milk you drank with such delight, as their calves and as their children; for whose satisfying, mighty one, the sacrifices are not enough even now. 32What good fortune, what good fortune, for Nanda the cowherd and the people of Vraja, whose friend is the highest joy, the full and everlasting Brahman. 33Let the greatness of their good fortune stand aside, Unfallen. We are the greatly favoured ones, we eleven, Sarva and the rest, who drink again and again with the cups of the senses this nectar-wine, the honey of the lotus of your feet.
34That is great good fortune: to be born here in this wood as anything at all, so long as one is bathed in the dust off the feet of any one of them in Gokula, whose whole life is the Bhagavan Mukunda, the dust of whose feet the scriptures are searching for still. 35God, what can you give these people living in the cattle settlement? My mind loses itself wherever it turns, for there is no fruit beyond you, who are the fruit of the whole world. Even Putana and her family were given you yourself for a mere show of goodness; and for your sake these have laid down house, wealth, friends, loved ones, selves, sons, breath and thought.
