47So the Bhagavan Krsna, going about Vrndavana, went once, king, without Rama, to the Kalindi, with his friends around him. 48Then the cows and the cowherds, worn down by the heat of the summer sun and tormented with thirst, drank the bad water of that river, which was spoiled with poison. 49Having touched that poisoned water, their minds struck down by fate, they all fell dead at the water's edge, bearer of the Kuru line. 50Seeing them brought to that state, Krsna, the lord of the masters of yoga, brought his own people back to life with a look that rained nectar. 51With their memory come back to them, they got up from beside the water, and all of them stood there amazed, looking at one another.
52And they took it, king, that having drunk poison and died they had got up again through Govinda's kindly look.
