49Master, it is you who bring about the birth and the standing and the gathering in of this world by means of the strands, though you want nothing and hold the power of uncreated time; and waking the several natures of things that are, you act by your looking, and your play is never in vain. 50These forms in the three worlds are yours alone: the peaceful, the unpeaceful, and those born in confusion. The peaceful are dear to you; and now you who stand firm have acted out of a wish to guard the good and to hold dharma steady. 51A wrong done by his own child should be borne once by the master. You whose self is at peace, you should forgive this dull one, who does not know you.
52Be kind, Bhagavan. The snake is giving up his breath. We are women, and the good may well pity us: give us back our husband, who is our breath. 53Set out for us, who are your servants, what we are to do at your order; for one who does it with trust is set free from fear on every side.
