Place, time, the several things laid out, the mantras and the procedure, the priests, the fires, the god, the sacrificer, the rite and the dharma — the one of whom all these are made, he is the Bhagavan himself, Visnu, the lord of the masters of yoga, born among the Yadus. We heard it said, and in our folly we still did not know it. How fortunate we are, that we have wives like these, by whose devotion our own minds have come to rest unshaken in Hari. Our salutation to you, Bhagavan, Krsna, whose wit is never blunted, since with our understanding confused by your maya we wander along the roads of our works. Let him, the first Person, forgive our going too far, ours whose selves are confused by his own maya and who have not known what he can do.

So, remembering their own wrongdoing, they who had slighted Krsna wanted to see the two Unfallen ones; but they were afraid of Kamsa, and they did not go.
