Verse 1

¹When the Govardhana hill had been held up and Vraja saved from the downpour, Surabhi came to Krsna from Goloka, and Sakra with her. ²Coming to him where they were alone, ashamed, since the slight had been his, he touched his feet with his crown, which had the brightness of the sun. ³Having seen and heard the power of this Krsna, whose fire has no measure, his drunkenness as lord of the three worlds gone, Indra folded his hands and spoke.
