Seeing the lord of the senses come, the guardian of that quarter of the world honoured him with great service, and, that sight being a festival to him, spoke. Today my body has come to rest, master; today, and only today, its purpose is reached. Bhagavan, those who have a share in your feet come to the far end of the road. Homage to you, the Bhagavan, Brahman, the supreme Self, in whom no maya is heard of, that maya which sets the worlds up in their variety. It was a man of mine, not knowing, dull, who did not know what must not be done, who brought your father here; so you should forgive it. Krsna, you should be kind to me as well, you who see everything without remainder. Govinda, let this father of yours be taken back, you who are tender to your parents.

So brought round, Krsna, the Bhagavan, the Lord of lords, took his father and went back, bringing gladness to his kinsmen.
