5Asvattha, plaksa, nyagrodha, have you seen him? Nanda's son has gone, and he stole our minds with his loving smiles and his glances. 6Kurabaka, asoka, naga, punnaga, campaka, has Rama's younger brother come this way, whose smile takes the pride out of proud women? 7Tulasi, gracious one, dear to Govinda's feet, have you seen the Unfallen, who is very dear to you, carrying you with the swarms of bees? 8Malati, mallika, jati, yuthika, was he seen by you? Did Madhava pass here, waking your delight with the touch of his hand? 9Cuta, priyala, panasa, asana, kovidara, jambu, arka, bilva, bakula, mango, kadamba, nipa, and the others on the Yamuna's bank, whose whole being is for the sake of others: tell us, whose selves are gone out of us, which way Krsna went.
