11The mighty one took them and went down to the bank of the Kalindi, where the wind was made sweet by the jasmine and the coral flowers in bloom, and the bees were in it, 12where the gathered rays of the autumn moon had beaten out the dark of the night, a kindly place, its soft sand heaped up by the moving hands of the dark river. 13The ache in their hearts was shaken off by the gladness of seeing him, and they came to the end of their longing, as the scriptures do; and with their own upper cloths, marked with the saffron of their breasts, they made a seat for the kinsman of their selves. 14The Bhagavan, the Lord, whose seat is set within the heart of the lords of yoga, sat down there and shone, being in the gathering of the cowherd women and honoured by them, wearing a body that is the one place where the beauty of the three worlds lives.
15They honoured him who kindles desire, with laughing playful glances and the play of their brows, and by touching his feet and hands, which they had set in their laps; and they praised him, and, a little angry, spoke.
