15Having got the Unfallen for their lover, him whom Sri loves and no one else, the cowherd women were held at the neck by his two arms, and they sang of him and played. 16Lotuses at their ears, curls at their brows, sweat on their lovely faces, bangles and anklets sounding for instruments, the cowherd women danced with the Bhagavan, the garlands slipping from their hair, in that gathering of the dance where the bees were the singers. 17So with embraces and touching hands, with fond looks and unchecked play and laughter, Fortune's lord took his delight in the beautiful women of Vraja, like a child taken with his own reflection.
18Their senses in a tumult of joy at the touch of him, the women of Vraja could not easily set right their hair, their fine cloth, or the band at their breasts, and their garlands and ornaments came loose, best of the Kurus. 19Seeing Krsna at play, the women who travel the sky lost themselves, pierced with desire; and the moon with all his following stood amazed. 20Making himself as many as the cowherd women were, the Bhagavan took his delight with them in play, though he is one who takes his pleasure in the self. 21They were worn out with too much of the dance, dear one, and he in pity and love wiped their faces with his own hand, the hand that soothes everything.
