Verse 29

²⁷The Bhagavan, the Lord of the world, comes down in a portion of himself to set dharma firmly on its feet and to put down what stands against it. ²⁸How then, brahmin, did he who speaks the embankments of dharma, and makes them, and guards them, do the contrary thing and touch the wives of other men? ²⁹The lord of the Yadus, who wants for nothing, did a thing men shun. What did he mean by it? Cut away this doubt of ours, you who keep good vows.
