11The Bhagavan took him by the two horns and pushed him back eighteen paces, as one elephant pushes back another. 12Thrown back by the Bhagavan, he got up again at once and came on, his whole body running with sweat, breathing hard, out of his senses with rage. 13As he came on, he caught him by the horns, trod him down with his foot, threw him to the ground and wrung him out as a wet cloth is wrung; then with the horn he struck him, and he fell. 14Bringing up blood, letting go his urine and dung, kicking out his legs, his eyes rolling loose, he went the hard way to the house of Nirrti; and the gods scattered flowers and praised Hari.
15Having killed the humped one in this way and being praised by his own people, he went into the cow-station with Bala, a festival for the eyes of the cowherd women.
