10The divine sage, first among the Lord's own, came near, king, and spoke this in private to Krsna, whose deeds cost him no trouble: 11Krsna, Krsna, whose self cannot be measured, lord of yoga, Lord of the world, Vasudeva, dwelling of all that is, best of the Satvatas, master. 12You are the self of every living being, one, as fire is one in the wood. You are hidden, lying in the cave, the witness, the great Person, the Lord. 13The self, resting on itself, first brought the strands out of itself by maya; and by them, your will being true, you make this world and take it back and hold it up, as the Lord. 14Being that, you have come down to destroy the Daityas and pramathas and raksasas who have become kings of the earth, and to keep the good safe.
