28And so, being what I am, I have come to your feet, which the bad do not reach; and even this I take to be your favour, Lord. It is when a man's release from the round of birth is at hand that his thought turns to you, lotus-navelled one, through attending on the good. 29Homage to you who are pure knowing, the cause of every notion, the Person and the Lord and the ground, to Brahman whose power has no end. 30Homage to you, Vasudeva, the dwelling of all beings. Lord of the senses, homage to you: I have come to you, so keep me safe, master.
