49Having settled this in his mind, king of kings, Sudaman, glad at heart, made garlands of choice sweet-smelling flowers and gave them to the two. 50Well decked with them, Krsna and Rama and their followers were pleased, and, being givers of boons, they gave boons to the man who had bowed and taken refuge. 51And he chose an unshaken devotion to that very one who is the self of all, and warmth toward those devoted to him, and the highest pity toward all beings. 52So, having given him that boon, and good fortune that would grow through his line, and strength and long life and fame and beauty, he went out with his elder brother.
