With his purpose settled in this way, the Bhagavan, slayer of Madhu, went up to Canura, and Rohini's son to Mustika. Binding hands with hands and feet with feet, they dragged each other about by main force, each set on winning. Elbow against elbow, knee against knee, head against head and chest against chest, they struck at one another. With whirling and flinging, with grips and throws, with pressing forward and giving way, they blocked one another. With lifting and raising and shaking and setting down, each trying to beat the other, they worked harm on their own bodies.
