Worshipped and praised in this way by one devoted to him, the Bhagavan, Hari, spoke smiling to Akrura, as though he were bewildering him with his words: Bhagavan said: You are our teacher and our uncle, and to be praised, and always our kinsman. We are the ones to be kept and fed and pitied by you; we are your children. Men who want what is good should always attend on greatly favoured ones like you, who are the most worthy of honour.
