56Varuna sent white horses with one dark ear, swift as thought; the lord of treasures sent his eight hoards; and each guardian of the worlds sent what rose from himself. 57Whatever lordship the Bhagavan had given them for their own accomplishment, they gave all of it back to Hari, king, when he had come down to earth. 58There, having carried all the people by the power of yoga, Hari, that is Krsna, took counsel with Rama, who was to guard them, and went out from the city gate wearing a lotus garland and carrying no weapon.
