Seeing him come out, like the moon rising, the loveliest thing to look at, dark, dressed in yellow silk, with the Srivatsa on his chest and the shining Kaustubha loose at his throat, his four arms broad and long, his eyes red like fresh lotuses, always in good cheer, his cheeks beautiful, his smile clean, wearing that lotus face with the fish-shaped earrings flashing at it, This must be Vasudeva: a man marked with the Srivatsa, four-armed, lotus-eyed, wearing a garland from the woods, very beautiful. By the signs Narada gave, he can be no one else. He goes on foot and carries no weapon; so I will fight him without weapons.
