Having settled that, the Yavana rushed at him, whose face was turned away, and ran after him, wanting to catch him whom even yogins cannot come by. Step by step Hari showed himself as though he were just within the hand of the Yavana lord, and so led him a long way, to a cave in a mountain. Running away does not suit you, born in the family of Yadu! Taunting him so, he followed, and did not reach him, for his own ill had not yet worn away. Though taunted so, the Bhagavan went into the mountain cave; and the other went in after him and saw another man lying there asleep. So he brought me all this way and lies here like a holy man! Taking him for the Unfallen, the fool kicked him.

The man who had slept so long got up, opened his eyes slowly, looked round the quarters, and saw the other standing at his side. And at that, Bharata, burnt by a fire born of his own body when the angry look fell on him, he became ash in an instant.
