I want no other boon· Verses 56–58

।

।

।

I want no boon but the serving of your feet, mighty one, which is what those who have nothing ask for most. Having worshipped you, Hari, who give release, what noble man would choose a boon that ties him up? So, letting go of blessings on every side, which are tied to the strands of passion and darkness and clarity, I come to you: unstained, beyond the strands, without a second, highest, the Person who is knowing itself. Long have I been sick with trouble here, burnt with regrets, my six enemies never slaked, getting no peace by any means. Giver of shelter, I have come to your lotus foot, supreme Self, which is without fear and true and without grief. Protect me, Lord; I am in trouble.
