59Bhagavan said: Emperor, great king, your mind is clean and strong, since even when you were tempted with boons it was not broken by any wish. 60Know that you were tempted with boons so that you should not grow careless. The understanding of those devoted to me alone is never split by blessings. 61The mind of those who are not devoted, who work at the holding of the breath and the rest, is seen to rise up again, king, because the old leanings in it are not worn out. 62Wander the earth as you please, with your mind set on me. Let there be for you always this devotion to me that does not fall away. 63Standing in a kshatriya's duty, you killed creatures in hunting and the like. Gathered in yourself, wear that harm away by austerity, taking shelter in me.
64In the birth just after this one, king, you will become the best of the twice-born, the truest friend of all beings, and you will come to me and to nothing else.
