7He came to Prtha and made his salutation, and she held him in her arms, her eyes wet with much affection. He asked after her welfare and her daughter-in-law's, his father's sister, and was asked after his own people. 8Her throat was stopped by the breaking of love in her and her eyes were full of tears, and remembering all those many troubles she spoke to him, the sight of whom takes trouble away. 9It was from that very time that things went well with us and we were made to have a protector: Krsna, remembering that we are your kin, you sent my brother to us. 10You have no confusion of your own and another, being the friend and the self of the world; even so, standing in the heart, you kill the troubles of those who always remember you.
11What good have we done that I do not know of, Lord over all, that you, who are hard for the masters of yoga to see, have been seen by us, whose wits are poor? 12Asked in this way by the king, he stayed happily through the months of the rains, the mighty one, making a joy for the eyes of the people of Indraprastha.
