At the time when Krsna was asked to, he had Visvakarman make for the sons of Prtha a city of the greatest wonder, of many colours. The Bhagavan, living there and wishing to do what his own people would like, was Arjuna's charioteer, to give the Khandava to fire. That fire was pleased, king, and gave Arjuna a bow, white horses, a chariot, two quivers that are never used up, and armour that men with weapons cannot break. And Maya, let go by the fire, brought a hall to his friend, in which Duryodhana's eyes were confused between water and dry ground. Taking his leave of him, and with his friends agreeing to it, he came back once more to Dvaraka, ringed by Satyaki and the rest.

Then he married Kalindi at a fine and holy hour of a strong star, spreading among his own the highest joy, the most auspicious.
