Vindya and Anuvindya of Avanti, who followed Duryodhana's will, kept back their own sister at her choosing, though she was set on Krsna. King, Krsna carried off by force Mitravinda, daughter of Rajadhidevi, his father's sister, in the sight of the kings. There was a king of Kosala named Nagnajit, who kept dharma closely, and he had a daughter, king, the lady Satya, called Nagnajiti. The kings could not marry her without beating seven bulls, sharp-horned, very hard to face, savage, that would not put up with the smell of a strong man. Hearing that she was to be had by the man who beat the bulls, the Bhagavan, lord of the Satvatas, went to the city of Kosala, ringed by a great army.
