23Then the Earth came to Krsna and gave over the two earrings, bright with jewels and with refined gold, and the forest garland with the Vaijayanti in it, and Varuna's parasol, and the great jewel. 24Then the goddess praised the Lord of all, worshipped by the best of the gods, king, bowing with her palms joined, her mind bent low in devotion. 25Homage to you, lord of the gods and of their lords, holder of conch and disc and mace. To you who take on a form at the wish of those devoted to you, supreme Self, may there be homage. 26Homage to him with the lotus at his navel, homage to him with the lotus garland, homage to him with lotus eyes, homage to you whose feet are lotuses.
27Homage to you, Bhagavan, to Vasudeva, to Visnu, to the Person, the first seed, to you who are full awakening: homage. 28To the unborn one, the begetter of this, to Brahman, whose power has no end: self of the higher and the lower, self of the beings, supreme Self, may there be homage to you. 29Unborn one, lord, wishing to make, you take on rising passion, and darkness, uncovered, for the holding back, and clarity for the standing of the world, master of the world. You are time, you are the ground, you are the Person, and you are beyond. 30I, water, light, then wind, sky, the fine elements, the gods, mind, the senses, the doer, the great principle: everything that moves and does not move, Bhagavan, is this straying in you, who are without a second.
31This is his son. Afraid, he has been brought to your lotus feet, you who take away the pain of those who come to you. So keep him safe; lay on his head your lotus hand, which carries off every stain.
