30Told this, the great Lord's fever bowed to the Unfallen and went. But Bana climbed into a chariot and came out to fight Janardana. 31Then, holding weapons of every kind in his thousand arms, the demon in the height of his fury loosed his arrows at him whose weapon is the discus, ruler of men. 32As he shot his weapons again and again, the Bhagavan cut his arms off with the razor-rimmed discus, the way branches come off a great tree. 33As Bana's arms were being cut away, the revered Bhava, pitying one who was devoted to him, came up and spoke to him whose weapon is the discus.
