46Bhagavan said: What you have said, revered one, we will do, since it is your pleasure. What you have settled on has my good agreement. 47This demon, the son of Virocana's son, is not to be killed by me either. A boon was given to Prahlada: your line is not to be killed by me. 48It was to put his pride down that I cut his arms away; and the great force of his, which had become a load upon the earth, has been destroyed. 49Four of his arms are left him. He will grow neither old nor die, he will be first among your attendants, and the demon will have nothing to fear from anywhere. 50Having got his safety in this way, the demon bowed his head to Krsna, set Pradyumna's son with his bride upon a chariot, and brought them up to him.
51Ringed by a full division, dressed well and ornamented well, he put the young man and his wife at the head and set out, with Rudra's leave. 52He entered his own capital, decked out with banners and arches, its roads and squares sprinkled with water, and the townspeople and his friends and the twice-born came out to meet him with the sound of conches and drums. 53Whoever gets up in the morning and calls to mind in this way Krsna's victory and his fight with Sankara will not be defeated.
