19Then the son of Sura said to Paundraka: You there, Paundraka. Those weapons you spoke to me of through your messenger, I am letting them loose on you. 20Fool, I will make you give up that name of mine you have taken falsely. I will come to you for refuge today, if I do not want a fight. 21So he mocked him, and with sharp arrows he broke the chariot from under Paundraka and cut his head off with the wheel, as Indra cuts a mountain with the thunderbolt. 22In the same way he cut the head from the body of the lord of Kasi with his feathered arrows, and made it fall in the city of Kasi as the wind makes a lotus bud fall. 23Having killed the grudging Paundraka and his friend in this way, Hari went into Dvaraka, with the siddhas singing the nectar of his story.
24And he, whose every bond had been broken up by unbroken meditation on the Bhagavan, and who had worn Hari's own form, became made of him, king.
