45You alone are the cause of the standing and the rising and the going out of things, and you rest on nothing else. Lord, they say the worlds are the playthings of you at your play. 46Endless one, thousand-headed one, it is you who carry this round earth on your head, in play; and at the end, when the world is shut up within your own self, you lie there alone, with no second, what is left over. 47Your anger is for the teaching of everyone, not out of hatred and not out of grudge. Bhagavan, you carry clarity, and you are set on the upholding and guarding of what stands. 48Homage to you, self of all beings, holder of every power, unwearing. Maker of everything, let there be homage to you. We have come to you for refuge.
49So begged by men who had taken refuge and were shaken, with the shelter under them trembling, Bala was well pleased, and gave them safety, saying: Do not be afraid.
