Who can know rightly what you do· Verses 37–40

I have seen your maya many times, mighty one, and there is no crossing it; and the maya of the world's maker too, who is himself a worker of maya. Vast one, that you should move among beings by powers of your own, like a fire whose light is covered, is no wonder to me. Who is fit to know rightly what you do, who make this and hold it back by a maya of your own, so that it shows itself as though it had a being of its own? Homage to you, whose self carries no mark of anything else. The living thing goes round from birth to birth and does not know how to be freed from the body that carries all this harm. For its sake you lit the lamp of your own fame by descents made in play. I come to you.

Still, I will let you hear it, Brahman playing at being a man: what the king who is your father's sister's son and your own devoted follower means to do.
