Hari crossed the Anartas, the Sauviras and the deserts, and Vinasana, and passed over hills and rivers, past cities and villages, cattle stations and mines. Then Mukunda crossed the Drsadvati and the Sarasvati, went through the Pancalas and the Matsyas, and came to Sakraprastha. Hearing that he had come, whom men see so seldom, the king to whom no enemy is born went out gladly, with his teachers and ringed by his friends. With the sound of song and instruments and much sounding of Brahman he went to meet the lord of the senses, holding him dear as the breaths hold the breath of life.
