7Dvaipayana, Bharadvaja, Sumantu, Gotama, Asita, Vasistha, Cyavana, Kanva, Maitreya, Kavasa, Trita, 8Visvamitra, Vamadeva, Sumati, Jaimini, Kratu, Paila, Parasara, Garga, and Vaisampayana as well, 9Atharva, Kasyapa, Dhaumya, Rama of the Bhrgus, Asuri, Vitihotra, Madhucchandas, Virasena, Akrtavrana. 10Others too were called: Drona, Bhisma, Krpa and the rest, Dhrtarastra with his son, and Vidura of the great mind. 11Brahmins, kshatriyas, merchants and servants came there wanting to see the sacrifice, and all the kings, king, and the ministers of the kings.
